Bruce Ray Carpenter

BRUCE RAY CARPENTER, a resident of Lampe, Mo., was born Aug. 11, 1950, in Payette, Idaho, a son of Blaine and Thelma (Perkins) Carpenter. He died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at the age of 56.

Bruce was a dairy food manager. He was a member of the Tri-Lakes Moose Club No. 2369, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Taney County Rifle Club, and the American Rifle Club.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Carpenter, of Lampe, Mo.; one brother, Jerry and his wife Belinda Carpenter, of Raymore, Mo.; two nephews, Edward and his wife Joy Carpenter, of Raymore, Mo., and Anthony and his wife Lacy Carpenter, of Fort Bragg, N.C.; one niece, Sabrina Holland, of Portland, Ore.; two great-nephews; special friends Denise Hunter and Samie Loftis, and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and great-grandparents.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at Highview Assembly of God in Lampe with Rev. Mike Keeter officiating. Interment was in the Blue Eye Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
