Louise Widner

LOUISE WIDNER, a resident of Green Forest, was born April 17, 1930, in Manford, Okla., a daughter of Oscar Virgle and Ruth Lillian (Frazier) Loveall. She died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in her home at the age of 76.

Louise was a clerk for the Green Forest Water Department for many years. She loved flowers and plants and had previously worked at Green Forest Flowers.

On Aug. 13, 1946, she was united in marriage with Alfred Uri (A.U.) Widner, who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her son and daughter in law, Roger Dean and Karen Widner of Oak Grove; a daughter and son-in-law, Cherrie Lynn and Rusty Smith of Winslow; seven grandchildren, Jessi Widner, Shadi Belle Widner and James Lowery, Josey Eli Holt and Nathan Riley, Jasper Boone Holt and LeeAnne Jenkins; three great-grandchildren, Jada Marie Lowery, Bruce Dean Lowery, and Dax Allen Riley; two sisters, Emmalee Mashburn of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Edna Ruth Rowlett of Sand Springs, Okla.; several other relatives; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ruth Loveall; a sister; and a brother, Charles V. Loveall.

Private family graveside services were held Jan. 17, 2007, at the Gass Cemetery in Burlington, Ark., with Rev. Les Robinson officiating.
