SHARON LYNN EWING, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Dec. 13, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of Robert Allen and Vera (Mullinex) Easter. She died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in Eureka Springs at the age of 56.

Sharon worked in the Hotel business. She was a member of the Faith Christian Family Church in Eureka Springs. Sharon grew beautiful plants and flowers and was an avid gardener.

She is survived by two sons, John Michael Borg of Westport, Conn., and Johnston Ewing and his father, Joseph Ewing, both of Eureka Springs; a daughter, Melissa Ackerson of Largo, Fla.; her mother, Vera Easter of Valdosta, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Easter of Valdosta, and Debbie Schmidt of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren; several other relatives; and a host of friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service.
