LUCILLE ONA COOK, 77 died Jan. 6, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born March 4, 1929, in Oak Grove. She was the sixth of nine children born to Bob and Vesta Youngblood.

She was united in marriage with Dale Edward Cook on May 18, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; three sisters; her husband Dale; one daughter, Beverly Ann; and one son, Danny Lee.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Pelot and husband Steve of Baldwin City, Kan., Brenda Vaughn and husband Larry of Siloam Springs, Debra Reed and husband Junior of Weathorford, Okla., Carol Moss and husband John of Okay, Okla.; four brothers, Erite Youngblood of Oak Grove, Junior and Jeanne Youngblood of Grandview, Mo., Jimmy and Alice Youngblood of Green Forest, and Joy Lee Youngblood of Odgen, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was employed for many years with Tyson Foods until her illness required treatment. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Rev. Bob Perkins officiating. Interment followed in Hale Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.nelsonfuneral.com.
