VIOLA DORIS NOEL, of Branson, Mo., daughter of James and Viola (Minck) Adams, was born May 1, 1926, in West Berlin, N.J., and died Jan. 3, 2007, in her home at the age of 80.

Viola was united in marriage to Fred Noel on Nov. 24, 1953, and they had made their home in the area for the past two years, coming from Eureka Springs. She was of the Baptist faith.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kenneth Jones.

Survivors include her husband Fred of Branson; two sons, Ellis W. Jones and his wife Lynne of Clementon, N.J., and Frederick Noel and his wife Sue of Branson; three daughters, Nancy Parker and her husband Roger of Broken Arrow, Okla., Gertrude Morlock and her husband Jefrey of Shreveport, La., and Joy Hastings and her husband Michael of Dover, Tenn.; one brother, William Adams of Williamstown, N.J.; daughter-in-law Carol Jones of Texas, 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a host of othere relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in Oak Hills Cemetery, Holiday Island, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, Mo.
