LOUISE (WOODWORTH) MEEK, a resident of Berryville, was born March 29, 1916, in Collbarn, Colo. She died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in her home at the age of 90.

Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Dry Fork. She was also a member of the Eastern Star in Huntsville and the Extension Homemakers Club.

She is survived by two sons, Ivan Charles Meek of Lafayette, Colo., and John Fredrick Meek of Claremore, Okla.; two daughters, Anne Lichti of Berryville, and Merrily K. Ward of Kingston; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Maurine Glasby of Berryville; several other relatives and a host of friends.

On Sept. 23, 1937, she was united in marriage with Ivan Recton Meek, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at the Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Calloway officiating.
