ELSIE BIRTIE PLOTT, a resident of Abilene, Kan., was born June 8, 1918, in Rom, Ark., a daughter of Jess and Bell (Cox) Riley. She died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at the age of 88.

Elsie was a seamstress and a homemaker. She was a member of the Green Forest First Assembly of God.

She is survived by three sons, Don Plott of Abilene, Kan., Carl D. Plott of Wentworth, S.D., and Harlie D. Plott of Abilene, Kan.; two daughters, Cleta Mae Carroll of Chino, Calif., and Lois Jean Bouchey of Fontana, Calif., 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

On Nov. 28, 1935, she was united in marriage with Harley Plott, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, two brothers, five sisters, and her parents.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at the Nelson's Chapel in Green Forest with Rev. Kenny Asbury officiating. Interment was in the Farewell Cemetery.
