THELMA MYRL PINKLEY, a resident of Berryville, was born Feb. 28, 1916, in the Rock House Community, a daughter of Louis and Clem (Johnson) Worley. She died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in her home at the age of 90.

Mrs. Pinkley became a Christian at the age of 17. She was a charter member of the West Side Christian Church, which she attended faithfully until her health failed.

She is survived by two brothers, Floyd Worley of Conway, and Bill Worley of Berryville; six sisters, Marie Clark, Pauline Worley, Della Cathy, Joetta Littrell, all of Berryville, and Loretta Johnson of Chepota, Kan.; her sister-in-law, Daisy Worley; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herman and Helen Pinkley of Berryville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

On March 23, 1935, she was united in marriage with Hoyt Pinkley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Garry Pinkley; two brothers, Frank and Fred Worley; one sister Charlene Mings; and her parents.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at the Nelson Chapel in Berryville with Bro. Jim Sisco officiating. Interment followed in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
