He was retired from the Madison County Road and Bridge Dept. and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 230 at Kingston.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Hudspeth and Jesse Hudspeth.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Derek and Season Hudspeth and Chad and Sarah Hudspeth, all of Marble; four brothers, Bill Hudspeth, Benton Hudspeth and Jimmy Hudspeth, all of White Oak, and Boby Hudspeth of Berryville; three sisters, Betty Littrell of Springdale, Bertha Campbell and Bertie Hudspeth, both of White Oak; two grandsons, Isaiah Hudspeth and Ethan Hudspeth, both of Marble; and three granddaughters, Jasmine Hudspeth, Madyson Hudspeth and Arizona Hudspeth, all of Marble.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 2, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sisco officiating. Interment was in the Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Veterans honors were by the United States Army.
