Lois E. Snyder Cannon
Lois E. Snyder Cannon, 85, of Greenwood, Ark., passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Newkirk, Okla. to Roy and Mildred (Poland) Snyder.
She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Cannon; her parents; two brothers; and a sister. Survivors include three sons, Robert L. Cannon and his wife, Judi, of Dallas, Texas, Mike Cannon and his wife Peggy of Houston, Texas, and David Cannon of Fayetteville; and one daughter, Debbie Fritsche and her husband, Ken, of Greenwood. She is also survived by two siblings, Frank Snyder of Green Forest, and Jean Tinsley of Bonner Springs, Kan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Rogers with Rev. Sandra Wanasek and Rev. Larry Ott officiating. Burial followed in the Rogers Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Cannon to The First United Methodist Church Stephen Ministry in Rogers. Arrangements were under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
