October 9

10:53 p.m. - Police located trash that was dumped on Saunders Heights.

October 10

7:16 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Wren Street address to investigate a report of dogs loose. Animal control was notified.

8:49 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Main Street location because of a stalled vehicle, that was gone when they arrived.

10:37 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a nursing home to investigate a report of a suspicious man. Police checked, all was okay.

11:44 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a County Road 216 location to assist a county deputy.

October 11

7:57 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a North main Street location to investigate a report of theft from vehicles.

8:37 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department to investigate an auto theft.

11:15 a.m. - Police were dispatched to an ATM machine to investigate an alarm call. All was okay.

11:20 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Pritchard Street address to assist EMS.

4:35 p.m. - Police wee dispatched to the district court judge s office in regards to possible harassment.

8:55 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a location across from Tyson Foods to investigate a report of a subject threatened.

10 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Douglas Street address to investigate a disturbance complaint. The suspects were gone.

10:03 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the same Douglas Street address for a possible domestic disturbance. The suspect was gone.

October 12

7:24 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Sycamore address in response to an alarm call. All was okay.

9:29 a.m. - Police were dispatched to St. John s because an unknown subject called 911. Police were unable to locate the caller.

10:01 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department in regards to a theft complaint, that was unfounded.

10:10 a.m. - Police went to the end of Bunch Springs Road to recover a stolen Dodge Neon.

5:50 p.m. - Police secured a vehicle license that was found by a citizen at White Oak Station. It s owner was called.

10:22 p.m. - Police checked an abandoned vehicle near Stubbs. Its engine had blown and the vehicle was scheduled to be moved in the morning.

October 13

10:38 a.m. - Police were dispatched to provide a funeral escort.

2:21 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Murphys USA to work a two vehicle traffic accident.

2:46 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the police department to investigate a theft complaint.

3:44 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Main Liquor to work a private property traffic accident.

5:09 p.m. - Police arrested a subject on a warrant.

6:55 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an Edwards Street address to investigate a vicious dog complaint. Police were unable to locate the dog and animal control was notified.

8:10 p.m. - Police arrested a subject for driving on a suspended driver s license.

8:55 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the west city limits to look for a possible intoxicated driver. No contact was made.

11:05 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Fairway Motor Inn to investigate a suspicious person complaint. The suspect was gone.

11:54 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Westview for a suspicious vehicle, which was gone.

October 14

1:23 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Country Court address in response to a prowler complaint. No one was found.

1:22 a.m. - Police were dispatched back to the Country Court address because someone was pounding on the back window. The suspect was gone.

5:27 a.m. - Police provided a foot patrol at the school.

8:27 a.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hanby Street address to investigate a terroristic threat complaint.

4:32 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to investigate a disturbance complaint. The suspect was gone.

7:07 p.m. - Police were dispatched to an Ark. Hwy. 21 North location because cows were reported out in the roadway. Police couldn t find any.

October 15

1:18 a.m. - Police checked out a suspicious person at the Exxon station. All was okay.

10:30 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the Fairway Motor Inn after contraband, believed to be marijuana, was found and taken to the police department to be destroyed.

6:18 p.m. - Police were dispatched to Little Angels daycare to investigation an alarm call. Police found a water leak.

8:26 p.m. - Police were dispatched to the Sunrise Motel to investigate a stolen vehicle complaint.

9:24 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a Hwy. 221 North location to investigate a report of a white Honda off the road in a ditch. Police arrested the driver for DWI.

Berryville Fire Department

2:57 p.m. Oct. 14 - The BFD was toned out for a grass fire at the junction of Hwy. 143 and 62. Firefighters were told they weren t needed while in route.

12:55 p.m. Oct. 15 - The BFD was toned out for a kitchen stove fire on Bohannan Street. A fire extinguisher was used to contain the fire.

8:58 p.m. Oct. 15 - The BFD was toned out for an electrical transformer and power pole fire near public works. Firefighters contained the blaze and provided standby with lights for Entergy personnel trying to restore the service.
