Week of Sept. 11

September 11

10:40 a.m.-- Caller reported trash being dumped on sidewalk in front of downtown shops. Officer made contact with the complainant and the trash company.

12 p.m.-- Incident report taken on a complainant of stolen property from business office.

1:30 p.m.-- Caller reported a small dog that could have possibly been injured by a vehicle. Officer checked area, but was unable to locate animal.

1:34 p.m.-- Caller reported a dog chasing vehicles on Hwy. 62. Complainant stated animal was picked up for its safety until officer could retrieve it. Animal taken to police station.

3:24 p.m.-- Officer issued citation to a reckless driver.

September 12

10:56 a.m.-- Incident report taken on fraudulent usage of a credit card.

12:27 p.m.-- Accident report taken on a two vehicle incident at hospital.

10:46 p.m.-- Subject arrested during a traffic stop.

September 13

12:20 a.m.-- Caller reported a reckless driver that was intoxicated.

6:51 a.m.-- Incident report taken after caller stated that lights in laundromat were off and that a male subject with dog was inside. Officer talked with subject and advised him of the vagrancy ordinance and leash law.

6:44 p.m.-- Subject arrested on warrant.

September 14

8:39 a.m.-- Incident report taken on damage done to bank drive through during the night.

9:16 a.m.-- Incident report taken on harassing communications.

9:30 a.m.-- Subject turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. Subject posted cash bond and was released.

10:47 a.m.-- Incident report taken on a disturbance at school.

12:41 p.m.-- Incident report taken on a burglary to work trailer during the night.

September 15

1:04 p.m.-- Incident report taken on harassing communications.

11:45 p.m.-- Caller reported a "car cutting up" in parking lot.

September 16

2:45 a.m.-- Officer assisted motel guest after he was locked out of room and unable to contact manager.

7:11 a.m.-- Caller stated he had woken up from a drunken state and said he was unable to locate wallet or vehicle. Vehicle found.

10:01 a.m.-- Incident report taken on a residential breaking and entering.

10:01 a.m.-- Caller reported a black motorcycle passing vehicles on Hwy. 62.

10:30 a.m.-- Traffic control requested after a semi pulled down onto the historic loop.

September 17

12:35 a.m.-- Officers responded to a report of a drunk individual knocking on motel doors.

3:46 a.m.-- Caller stated subjects making excessive noise at hotel.

9:51 a.m.-- Traffic control requested after a vehicle trying to turn around at sewer plant went into ditch.

10:46 a.m.-- Incident report taken after a pickup sideswiped two vehicles trying to park.

11:41 a.m.-- Officer requested to assist clerk that had a motel guest that refused to leave. Subject left upon officer arrival.

11:50 a.m.-- Several callers reported lines across Hillside St., blocking traffic. SWEPCO notified.

12:15 p.m.-- Caller reported a subject sleeping underneath building.

1:36 p.m.-- Another call was placed concerning person sleeping underneath buildings on Spring St. Subject was warned for leash law and rabies certificate.

8:51 p.m.-- Welfare check requested on a woman and her baby that had been sitting in the rain for more than two hours. Officer stated subject was waiting for a ride.

September 18

2:13 a.m.-- Female subject requested to speak with an officer concerning a family disturbance. Male subject arrested on outstanding warrants.

8:05 a.m.-- Squad #1194, Engine #1151, Tanker #1162 all responded to a fully involved structure fire on CR1089.

9:53 a.m.-- Squad #1192 responded to an elderly male subject that had fallen. No transport.

9:34 p.m.-- Squad #1194 responded to a female subject having respiratory difficulties. No transport.

September 12

10:14 a.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1192 responded to a female subject that had fallen down a flight of stairs and was unconscious. Patient taken to St. John's.

12:09 p.m.-- Squad #1192 responded to an out-of-district call concerning a male subject needing transport to St. John's for x-rays.

9:41 p.m.-- Squad #1194 responded to a female subject with chest pain. No transport.

September 13

4:17 a.m.-- Squad #1192 responded to a male subject with leg and back pain. Patient taken to ESH.

September 14

12:34 a.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1194 responded to a female subject having chest pains and low blood pressure. Patient taken to ESH.

4:26 a.m.-- Squad #1192 responded to a female subject vomiting blood. Patient taken to area hospital.

7:06 a.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1194 responded to a female subject with a fractured hand. Patient taken to ESH.

September 15

9:19 a.m.-- Squad #1194 responded to a male subject in full code. Patient taken to area hospital.

September 16

2:52 a.m.-- H.I. Squad #1703 responded to a motorcycle accident with unknown injuries. Nothing found.

5 p.m.-- Squad #1194 responded to a report of a power line going across Spring St.

September 17

11:45 a.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1194 responded to a female subject that had fallen and had a laceration to her nose. Patient taken to ESH.

1:27 p.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1192 responded to a female subject that had fallen. Patient taken to ESH.

1:49 p.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1194 responded to a report of a young female subject found passed out along roadway. Patient taken to ESH.

5:50 p.m.-- H.I. and Squad #1194 responded to a male subject that had fallen in garage. Patient taken to area hospital.
