ANNA McKINNEY, a resident of Berryville, was born Oct. 4, 1910, in Williamsburg, Tenn., a daughter of George and Lovie (Hammons) Anglin. She died on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, in Berryville at the age of 95.

Mrs. McKinney was a school teacher. She was a member of the Moore United Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, Friends of the Library and the Retired Teacher s Association.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lea Ann Jackson of Berryville and Linda Plott of Green Forest; one brother, Hobert Anglin of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Kathlene Pritchard and Frankie Herring, both of California; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

On Jan. 16, 1934, she was united in marriage with William Bruce McKinney, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, William Bruce McKinney, Jr., one brother, Melvin Anglin, and two sisters, Fan Clark and Edna Webb.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Moore Church with Pastor Larry Montgomery officiating. Interment followed in the Moore Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
