Kilbourn crowned as Carroll County Fair moves into high gear
BERRYVILLE -- Lindsay Kilbourn was crowned Miss Carroll County Wednesday night during pageant action at the fairgrounds.
She was also named Miss Photogenic and won the interview portion of the contest.
Lindsay, a junior at Green Forest High School, is the daughter of Cary and Mary Ann Kilbourn.
She will represent Carroll County in the Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant, and receive a $500 scholarship to the college of her choice.
First runner-up in the Fair Queen contest was Lynsey Griffith of Berryville, who also took top honors in the evening gown and swimsuit portion of the competition. She is the daughter of Donna and John Griffith.
Second runner-up in the Fair Queen contest was Hezelmae Dela Calzada of Berryville, the daughter of Enriquita Lorejas and Ronald Bills.
Santana Barr, a Berryville High School graduate, was named Miss Congeniality. She is the daughter of Sam and Brenda Barr.
In the Junior Miss Carroll County contest, Kristi Matlock of Berryville was crowned queen. She is the daughter of Michael and Tammy Matlock.
Casie Myers of Berryville was named first runner-up. She is the daughter of Gary and Isabelle Myers.
Second runner-up was Samantha Peden of Green Forest. She is the daughter of Bobby and Judy Peden.
Kimberlie Hansen was named Junior Miss Photogenic and Brooke Arnold was Junior Miss Congeniality.
Nine contestants competed in the Miss Carroll County Fair Queen portion of the pageant and 15 vied for the Junior Miss title.
