Hog roast to kick off an evening of gospel music at King of Kings

FAREWELL -- A hog roast will kick off an evening of gospel music on Sept. 23, starting at 4 p.m. at King of Kings Camp Grounds, located six and one-half miles northeast of Green Forest on County Road 808.

The singing will start at about 6 p.m. and will feature Arlis and Dixie Burks, Mark and Heather Jones, and other local talent. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

King of Kings is a full gospel ministry.

The campgrounds are located between Green Forest and Denver near the old Center Point community.

Persons in Carroll County can take U.S. Hwy 62 to Green Forest and turn north on Ark. Hwy. 311 for five miles. At Farewell, turn right then left to CR 814, known locally as Denver Road, and drive two and one-half miles to CR 808 and turn right and drive two miles. The campgrounds will be on the left.

From Harrison and points north persons may take U.S. Hwy. 65 to Burlington, turn west on CR 811, drive six miles to CR 814, turn right and drive one and one-half miles to CR 808, turn left, and drive two miles. Again, the campground will be on left.
