Women invited to Holiday Island disciple study

Tuesday, September 5, 2006

HOLIDAY ISLAND -- The Holiday Island Community Church invites women of the area community to explore the life of the apostle John with Beth Moore, inspirational speaker and author of "Beloved Disciple."

In "Beloved Disciple," women will get to know the one the New Testament calls the "beloved disciple." As they explore John's relationship with Jesus Christ, they will see themselves as modern "beloved disciples" and will discover how to allow God to establish a love relationship with Christ as the motivation for all they do.

The course is offered twice a week. One session will meet on Tuesdays beginning Sept. 5 and ending Nov. 14. Another session will meet on Thursdays beginning Sept. 7 and ending Nov. 16.

Each session will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Room 108 on the lower level of the Cook Center. Cost of the study book is $16.

Facilitators will be Anne Saegesser, (479) 659-1682, Laura Nichols, (479) 253-8925, and Debbie Cosens, (479) 253-6187. Women are asked to call any of the facilitators if they have questions or would like to register for the class.
