ELLEN SHERRATT a resident of Berryville, was born Feb. 11, 1925, a daughter of Monroe and Kitty (Dowty) Gustin. She died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, in Fayetteville, at the age of 81.

Mrs. Sherratt was a member of the Golden Church of God. She was a cattle rancher.

She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Grisham of Branson, Mo., Beverly Allen of Berryville, Penny Moore of Eckert, Colo., Pamela Maddox of Eureka Springs, and Bettejo Vigano of Joplin, Mo.; three brothers, Ike Gustin of Colorado Springs, Colo., Oscar Gustin of Flagler, Colo., and Rich Gustin of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Lucille Guthrie of Hawaii; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, neph?ews, several other relatives and friends.

On April 15, 1945, she was united in marriage with Harold Leroy Sherratt, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at the Golden Church of God with Pastor Deryl Harp officiating. Interment will follow in the Moreland Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
