VIRGIL MORRIS, a resident of Green Forest, was born May 18, 1915, in the Bobo community, a son of Hugh and Lizzie (Magnolia) Morris. He died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, in Berryville, at the age of 91.

Mr. Morris was a veteran. having served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his sister, Lois Morris of Green Forest; several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Carrollton Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Scitern officiating. Interment followed in the Carrollton Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
