Garrett Houston Hudgins
GARRETT HOUSTON HUDGINS, a resident of Berryville, was born Nov. 14, 1990, in Rogers, the youngest son of Clay Winslow, Sr. and Pamela Jean (Brown) Hudgins. He died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in Bentonville at the age of 15.
Garrett was a member of the Berryville Bobcat baseball team and he competed as a pole vaulter on the Bobcat track and field team. He was an avid motocross racer.
He is survived by his parents, Clay and Pami Hudgins; three brothers, Clay, Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Seligman, Mo., and their children, Haley, Tawny and Trinity Hudgins, Travis Hudgins and his girlfriend Kelly Hendrix of Washburn, Mo., Matt and his wife, Heather Hudgins of Berryville and their children, Sydnie and Laine Hudgins; one sister, Jessi Watson and her fiance, Jeff Bolinger of Huntsville and her daughter Sophia Watson; maternal grandparents James and Bernitta Brown of Gateway; Garrett's girlfriend, Brooke Arnold; uncles and aunts, Buzz Broughton of Rogers, Jack and Paula Broughton of Rogers, Bruce and Gail Burnham of Magnolia, Texas, Kane and Lisa Hudgins of Berryville, Mickle and Kelly Reed of Cassville, and Ricky and Cheryl Behrends of Gateway; several other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his granny, Gwendolyn Hudgins.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at the Assembly of God Church in Berryville. Interment was in the Moore Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
