After a long career in the grocery business in Kansas City, Frank returned to his roots in Arkansas. He opened a convenience store, the Red X Express, and was a cattle farmer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Langston. He is survived by his wife, Marge, and his three children, Mike and Rhonda Langston, Brian Langston, and Cecily and Brent King, and his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Lavonne Langston, and brothers Russell and Ronnie Langston and their families and many good friends.
Services were under the direction of Holt Funeral Home of Harrison. The memorial service was held July 26, 2006 in the funeral home. Burial followed in the Alpena Cemetery.
