He was a World War II veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was proud of of his service to his country during a time of great need. He was owner of a concrete mixing plant before retiring in southern Missouri and then moving to the Green Forest area.
He is survived by his wife, Nona L. Mansfield Sheppa, of Green Forest; one son, Tony Henderson, of Harrison; two daughters, Teresa Strange, of Berryville, and Patricia Delgado, of Green Forest; and seven grandchildren, Nona Janai Salinas, Robby Henson, Anthony Henson, Tina Wagner, Tony D. Henderson, Chelsa Henderson, and Amber Henderson. He was preceded in death by one son, Dale Henderson, in 2000, and his mother and father.
