BABE RUTH STATE TOURNEY -- Clear your calenders and get ready to attend the Babe Ruth State Tournament at A. L. Carter Field, July 21 through 25. The 15-year-olds will be playing from 1 p.m. until the last inning ends on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The gate fee will be $4 for adults, $3 for children or you can buy a $25 weekend pass for the family.

BOBCAT PHYSICALS -- Athletics Director Doug Scheel has announced that physicals for athletes in grades seven through 12 will be held at the high school gym at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, for boys and girls. Athletes must have a parent present at the gym to sign a waiver, or forms can be picked up at the superintendent, principal or middle school offices and be pre-signed.

7-on-7 FOOTBALL -- Teams from Berryville, Green Forest, Harrison, Yellville-Summit, and Mountain Home will be playing 7-on-7 games at Harrison each Monday through July 24. Players should contact coaches about times and transportation.

BERRYVILLE VOLLEYBALL -- Coach Kristin Smith has announced the first day of practice will be on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 8 a.m. in the BHS high school gym. Players must have a physical before they can practice.

TIGER FOOTBALL BEGINS -- Head football coach Bill Gotto has announced that practices will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 1, with the senior high going from 8 to 11 a.m., and the junior high from 4 to 6 p.m. that first week. Players must have a physical on file with coaches to begin practices.

BERRYVILLE FOOTBALL BEGINS -- Head coach Bobby Bishop has announced that the senior high Bobcats will begin practice on Monday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to noon and continue that schedule for two weeks. The junior high will begin practice on Monday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. Seventh-grade will begin practices when school starts.

BOBCAT CROSS COUNTRY FUN RUNS -- Cross country coach Doug Scheel has announced two run runs for all senior and junior high boys and girls on Tuesday and Thursday, July 25-27, at 8 a.m. beginning at the high school gym. Runners must have a physical before they can practice.

BERRYVILLE 7TH FOOTBALL CAMP -- A three-day camp for players going into the seventh grade will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on July 24-25-26. Players will get their pads, learn about formations and practice fundamentals as they get introduced to the Bobcat program.
