CHARLEY McCONAUGHY, a resident of Berryville, was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Dariean, Wisc., a son of Chester Leo and Frances Lorene (Babb) McConaughy. He died Sunday, July 16, 2006, in Berryville, at the age of 64.

Mr. McConaughy was a water driller.

He is survived by his brother, James McConaughy of Rudd; one sister, Melvina McConnell of Greenwood; and four great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at the Gobbler Cemetery with Rev. Jim Capps officiating. Interment followed in the Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
