July 10

12:26 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Sports Corner on a report of three boys lurking around a vehicle. All checked okay.

12:33 p.m. -- Officer took a negligence complaint involving a child. Department of Human Services was contacted and an investigation opened.

12:38 p.m. -- Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident on South Springfield Street and U.S. Hwy. 62.

12:53 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Car-Mart to secure found paraphernalia. Paraphernalia to be destroyed.

1:19 p.m. -- Police responded to a welfare concern on Bohannon Street. Subject okay.

8:20 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to A.L. Carter Field to mediate a custody dispute.

July 11

6:19 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Hwy. 62. Officer followed vehicle but no violations detected.

9:15 a.m. -- Officer documented an harassment complaint on Pleasant Street.

10:06 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of a speeding vehicle in Wal-Mart parking lot. Police will attempt to locate driver.

10:14 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to O'Reilly Auto Parts to take a report on a counterfeit bill.

10:29 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of fireworks discharged at Country Court Trailer Park. Unable to locate subjects.

2:09 p.m. -- Officer initiated a follow-up on an earlier report of a speeding vehicle in Wal-Mart parking lot. Officer warned subject.

5:00 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Hwy. 62 East for an agency assist in looking for a vehicle involved in a hit and run in Green Forest.

5:20 p.m. -- Police responded to a private property traffic accident in Price Cutter parking lot. A report was taken.

5:31 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a subject "flipping-off" the owner of a jewelry store. Police checked area but was unable to locate suspect.

5:50 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of an unwanted subject knocking on a door at Locust Heights Apartments. Subject was advised to call back if person returned.

6:11 p.m. -- Officer responded to an harassment complaint in the Locust Heights Apartments area. Officer checked for suspects but was unable to locate.

6:40 p.m. -- Officer took information on a possible harassment.

7:45 p.m. -- Police responded to a private property traffic accident at Kwik Kar and provided assistance.

8:23 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver in St. John's Hospital -- Berryville area. Area was checked.

11:16 p.m. -- Officer responded to a faulty fire alarm on Westview Street. Battery was changed and all was okay.

July 12

2:46 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of suspicious persons at First National Bank of Berryville. Suspicious persons were newspaper people preparing deliveries.

3:45 p.m. -- Police responded to a traffic accident on Hwy. 62. A report was taken.

5:20 p.m. -- Police responded to a traffic accident on Spring Street. A report was taken.

7:00 p.m. -- Officer assisted a motorist with a disabled truck on Hwy. 62 at Economy Drug.

9:27 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on East College Avenue. All checked okay.

9:59 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to West Freeman Avenue near Tyson Foods on a report of skateboarders wearing black in the street. Officer was unable to locate skateboarders.

10:44 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a shotgun blast heard in the Locust Heights Apartments area. Nothing found -- possibly a vehicle backfire.

July 13

1:58 a.m. -- Police responded to a motion alarm at Castle Pawn. All was secure.

12:35 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Car-Mart to take a report on a stolen vehicle.

12:59 p.m. -- Officer responded to a 911 call from Exxon regarding a mother/daughter dispute. Subjects gone upon arrival.

5:00 p.m. -- Officer assisted Carroll County Sheriff's Office deputy in transporting subject from Shamrock Motel to jail.

7:25 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to East Freeman Avenue to mediate a renter disagreement.

8:28 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of possible dog neglect on Freeman Street. Unable to locate dog.

8:50 p.m. -- Police responded to a possible fight in progress on East Freeman Avenue and North Springfield Street. All was quiet upon arrival.

9:38 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a prowler on Rice Street. Two subjects in area denied wrong-doing.

10:48 p.m. -- Officer assisted with a medical emergency at Honey and Spice.

July 14

12:23 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Exxon on a report of a possible intoxicated subject. Subject was getting a ride home and all was okay.

10:50 a.m. -- Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident on public square. A report was taken.

11:25 a.m. -- Officer assisted emergency medical services with a medical emergency on Caddie Street.

5:36 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart on a report of a dog in a vehicle. Officer spoke to owner.

8:19 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Arvest Bank at Wal-Mart. All checked okay.

8:49 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Community First Bank. All checked okay.

8:52 p.m. -- Police responded to a fight in progress on High Street. Police counseled two young boys.

10:44 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of harassment at Public Square Apartments. Issue resolved.

11:28 p.m. -- Officer responded to a harassment complaint on Paradise Cove. A report was taken and will seek a warrant.

July 15

1:09 a.m. -- Police responded to a one vehicle traffic accident on Hwy. 62 at Kabota Tractor. A report was taken.

1:52 a.m. -- Officer arrested a male adult at Exxon for public intoxication.

2:37 a.m. -- Officer initiated a traffic stop on Hwy. 62 East which led to the driver arrested on a Berryville and Madison County warrant.

8:29 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Dawn Street on a report of a lost child. Mother and child reunited.

10:43 a.m. -- Police provided traffic control on Hwy. 62 and South Springfield Street for the Save Our Children Poker Run.

11:29 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to McKennon Road to check on possible dog neglect. Dogs had water but will refer to animal control for further investigation.

5:23 p.m. -- Police responded to a disturbance at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Police mediated a verbal dispute.

5:32 p.m. -- Officer initiated a traffic stop on West Freeman Avenue which led to the driver arrested for driving while intoxicated.

8:19 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Eureka Avenue on a welfare concern. Subject was taken to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

9:34 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a man walking in the middle of the road on U.S. Hwy. 62 Spur. Unable to locate subject.

9:38 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to St. John's -- Berryville emergency room to check on an injured subject. No report required.

July 16

2:51 a.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Price Cutter. All checked okay.

6:43 a.m. -- Police responded to an alarm on Sycamore Street. All checked okay.

4:35 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at First National Bank of Berryville. All checked okay.

7:14 p.m. -- Police responded to a possible fight at Cox Communication. Officer spoke with subjects and all was okay.
