MARY THERESA ROSE MAIELLA, a resident of Austin, Texas, formerly of Eureka Springs, was born May 6, 1983, in Smithtown, New York, a daughter of Louis Daniel and Linda Ann (Fedynak) Maiella. She died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Austin at the age of 23.

Mary graduated from the University of Dallas in 2004 with a B.A. in Drama. She was a receptionist for Schlotzky's Corporate Office in Austin, Texas. Mary was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her parents, Lou and Linda Maiella, of Eureka Springs; three brothers, Daniel Maiella of Oakdale, N.Y., Peter Maiella of Eureka Springs, and Michael Maiella of Dallas; her fiancé, Matt Talbert and the entire Talbert family of Odessa, Texas; several other relatives; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Annette Maiella; and Paul and Mary Fedynak, all of New York.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 10, 2006, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Eureka Springs with Father Thomas Arackal officiating.
