HUGH MILLER, a resident of Berryville, was born January 29, 1925, in Rudd, a son of William Thomas and Vicy Ann (Roberts) Miller. He died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, in Berryville at the age of 81.

Hugh was a farmer and was self-employed in the trucking business.

On March 6, 1944, he was united in marriage with Dixie (Webb) Miller, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by four children, Judy and her husband Bill (Bubby) McDonald of Springdale, Joan and her husband, Bob Anderson and Phyllis and her husband Larry Montgomery all of Berryville, and Sandy and her husband, Scott Sackett of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; several other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, infant Baby Miller, Denvie David Miller, Parker Miller, Tom Miller, Johnny Miller; and six sisters, Vennie Seitz, Chloe Jones, Ruby Lively, Margie Conner, Lou Duncan, and Jeanette Smith.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, 2006, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Interment was in the Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
