WEEK OF JUNE 19

June 19

10:25 a.m. -- Police took a theft complaint report.

11:38 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Kerusso to assist a motorist in unlocking a vehicle.

11:50 a.m. -- Police responded to a three vehicle traffic accident on U.S. Hwy. 62. Police assisted Arkansas State Police with traffic control.

1:40 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of threats being made at Exxon. Officer will contact subject about allegations.

4:00 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of an erratic driver following an ambulance at St. John's -- Berryville Hospital. Subject arrested for public intoxication.

4:30 p.m. -- Officer secured and documented found contraband on West Church Avenue. Contraband stored at police department.

June 20

12:26 a.m. -- Police responded to a 911 hang-up on South Springfield Street. Officer checked and all was okay.

1:21 a.m. -- A traffic stop for possible intoxicated driving on East Freeman Avenue led to driver arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).

7:39 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Shaver Street to contact a resident concerning unsightly conditions. Resident will correct the problem.

1:43 p.m. -- Officer took a report on harassment which occurred at Wal-Mart.

June 21

12:27 a.m. -- A traffic stop for speeding on South Main Street led to the driver arrested on a Eureka Springs Police Department warrant.

2:39 a.m. -- A traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle on South Main Street led to subject arrested for driving on a suspended license and possession of instrument of crime.

12:28 p.m. -- Police provided fingerprint service on three subjects.

1:18 p.m. -- Officer arrested a subject on parole violation and transported subject to Carroll County Detention Center.

2:19 p.m. -- Officer fingerprinted 30 children at the Berryville Community Center for family records.

4:30 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Springfield Street and Hague Street concerning tree limbs on electrical lines. Officer provided traffic control.

5:25 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver on Hwy. 62 West. Elderly subject driving and all was okay.

June 22

6:24 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Jeff's Car Care on a report of erratic driving. Driver was cited for speeding and no license.

2:58 p.m. -- Police took information on possible theft.

10:27 p.m. -- Police responded to a possible domestic on Hanby Avenue. Verbal argument and issue resolved.

June 23

7:06 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Rose Avenue on a report of a dog in yard. Animal control officer contacted to pick-up dog.

8:27 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to North Springfield Street and Champion Hills subdivision to provide traffic control for a wrecker while a truck was removed from a ditch.

1:20 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Farm Bureau to take a report concerning subject threatening employees.

2:57 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Community First Bank. All checked okay.

9:43 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of an intoxicated subject at St. John's -- Berryville Hospital. Subject was arrested on a Berryville warrant and for public intoxication.

9:46 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a person being threatened at Wal-Mart. A report was taken.

June 24

1:51 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of someone pounding on a residential door on Saunders Heights. Officer checked area and negative contact made.

3:01 a.m. -- Officer assisted Carroll County Sheriff's Office deputy with an arrest on Freeman Avenue. Two subjects transported to jail.

10:50 a.m. -- Police provided funeral escort and traffic control for Nelson's Funeral Home.

3:17 p.m. -- Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Campbell Street. Verbal only and issue resolved.

5:42 p.m. -- Police responded to a domestic disturbance on College Avenue and subjects arrested.

8:48 p.m. -- Police responded to a domestic disturbance on North Main Street. One subject left for the night.

8:57 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of kids shooting fireworks and profanity heard on High Street. Kids were contacted and advised to cease.

9:12 p.m. -- A traffic stop at White Oak Station on a known person to have a suspended license led to the driver arrested.

9:38 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Parkview Drive concerning a suspicious person. Subject was waiting on a ride and all was okay.

10:58 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of people drinking outside and reckless driving at Charles Street Apartments. No people outside and no vehicles found moving.

June 25

2:00 p.m. -- Officer fingerprinted children at the four year anniversary celebration of the Berryville Community Center.

4:42 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of kids with fireworks on Ada Street. Kids gone upon arrival.

5:02 p.m. -- Officer initiated a check on a woman removing items from a garage on Hague Street. All was okay.

8:56 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of fireworks discharged on Potter Street. Gone upon arrival.

9:13 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of fireworks discharged on Jessica Avenue. Two subjects were located on Kristy Street and advised to cease.

10:15 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of fireworks discharged at Country Court Mobile Home Park. Subjects contacted and agreed to cease.

Berryville Fire Department

5 p.m. June 24 -- The BFD was toned out for a large brush fire. Firefighters were reportedly given inaccurate directions and drove around trying to find the blaze, actually driving past it at one point. It was not a large fire, but a very small one, located near the intersection of county roads 601 and 603, already extinguished.
