He was a member of First Baptist Church, a Mason and an avid fisherman. He loved woodworking and was a former World Champion Soap Box Derby racer.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Donald Knott. He is survived by his wife, Mitzi, of England; five sons, Eric Knott of Jacksonville, Ill., Lee Rosales and Tony Rosales of Oklahoma; J.R. Deniz of England; and Kolbi Knott of Green Forest; two daughters, Kristen Knott of Jacksonville, Ill. and Brandi Knott of Green Forest; his mother, Genevieve Knott of Wisconsin; four brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Knott and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knott of Wisconson, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Knott and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Knott of Illinois; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held Wednesday, June 14, at Mulberry Cemetery in England. A Celebration of Life service was held at the First Baptist Church in England. Funeral arrangements were by Roller-England Funeral Home.
