LOUISE WALKER, 86, of Yellville, died on Sunday, May 28, 2006, in the Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville. Louise was born in Yocum on June 29, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Linford and Dovie (Dooling) Barrett.

Louise married Carl Walker on Nov. 2, 1938. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1999. She was a member of the Yellville First Baptist Church.

Louise is survived by her son, Larry and his wife, Mary Jane of Yellville; and one sister, Velma Butler of Lampe, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at the Layton Cemetery in Yellville on May 30, 2006, under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Yellville.
