J.T. Littrell

J.T. LITTRELL, a resident of Ozark, Mo., was born April 18, 1931, in Roland, Okla., a son of John Daniel and Martha (Davis) Littrell. He died Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Ozark at the age of 75.

Mr. Littrell was a carpenter and painter. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp, and canoe. He was always the chief camp cook. In January 2003, he gave his heart to the Lord.

On June 25, 1952, he was united in marriage with Joetta (Worley) Littrell, who survives him of Berryville. Five children were born from their union -- three sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Christine Littrell of Seligman, Mo., Glen and Ronda Littrell of Eureka Springs, and Joe and Jill Littrell of Pea Ridge; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Retha and Paul Johnson of Bentonville, and Lesa and Ken Richardson of Berryville. Also surviving him are seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his friend and companion, Verba Luttrell of Ozark; and two brothers, Marion Littrell of Little Rock, and Delbert Littrell of Coos Bay, Ore.; many other relatives; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; and two infant grandsons.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Benny Thompson officiating. Interment was in the Rock House Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
