HUBERT R. FOSTER, a resident of Berryville, was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Berryville, a son of John H. and Edna H. (Doss) Foster. He died Friday, May 26, 2006, in Berryville at the age of 80.

Mr. Foster was a farmer. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during World War II.

On Dec. 11, 1958, he was united in marriage with Gladys (Crow) Foster, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his three sons, Wayne Foster, Wendell Foster and his wife, Cheryl, and Waymon Jean Foster all of Berryville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lola and Mike Miller of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Grace Allen of Berryville; 11 grandchildren; one granddaughter-in-law; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Foster; and one sister.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Willie Foster officiating. Interment was in the Alabam Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
