FRANK W. ALLEN, a resident of Oak Grove, was born Jan. 29, 1950, in Berryville, a son of Ira and Alda Elizabeth (Phillips) Allen. He died Saturday, May 27, 2006, in Oak Grove at the age of 56.

Frank was a mechanic, having owned and operated Oak Grove Garage for several years. He was a member of the Oak Grove Fire Department, where he served as chief for several years.

He is survived by two sisters, Ema Irene Ellis and her husband, Paul of Farmington, and Vickie Allen of Oak Grove; a brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Tina Allen of Oak Grove; nieces and nephews and three great-nieces; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Alda Allen.

Memorial funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2006, at the Hale Cemetery Chapel in Oak Grove with Rev. Les Robinson officiating.
