Theresa Agostini Armstrong

THERESA AGOSTINI ARMSTRONG, a resident of Holiday Island, was born June 28, 1923, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies, a daughter of Athelstan and Marie Isabel (Farfan) Agostini. She died peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at the age 82.

Theresa was a homemaker. She attended St. Elizabeth's Parish Center in Eureka Springs.

She is survived by her four children, Royce Armstrong Birks of Forest Hill, Calif., Andrew Armstrong, Jr. of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Ann Armstrong of Eureka Springs, and Dr. Christopher Armstrong of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of friends.

On July 1, 1942, she was united in marriage with Andrew Royce Armstrong, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Athelstan and Marie Agostini; one brother; and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, at St. Elizabeth's Parish Center. Interment will be in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
