She attended school at Big Flat. She enjoyed sewing, wood burning, cooking and being surrounded by her family. She was an organ doner with positive results. Mrs. Goodman was a member of the Eastern Star.
On July 27, 1961, she was united in marriage with Linville D. Goodman, who survives her. She is also survived by her children and their families, Michael and Angel Goodman of Green Forest, Connie and Lyle Howarth of Springdale, Tim and Robyn Goodman of Green Forest and Victoria and Steven Tucker of Harrison; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Abigail; elder brother, Leon Treat of Gravette and younger sisters, Carolyn Thompson of Fayetteville and Johnnie Woods of Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Ruth Treat, and her elder brothers, Clyde and Ben.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Nelson's Green Forest Chapel with Rev. Ivan Fletcher and Bro. Linden Ballard officiating. Interment followed in the Farewell Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
