She was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Golden, Mo., the daughter of Milburn and Alice (Phillips) Stiles. On Sept. 9, 1978, in Golden Baptist Church, she was united in marriage to Wayne Farwell, who survives. They would have been married 29 years in August.
She is also survived by two sons, Larry Allen of Eureka Springs, and Gary Allen and his wife Pam of Holiday Island; one daughter, Janet Allen Goforth of Eureka Springs; three step-daughters, Becky Condra and her husband Gary of Puyallup, Wash., Kathryn Farwell of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Anita Farwell of Bentonville; four brothers, Paul Stiles and his wife Ava Nell of Berryville, Bob Stiles and his wife Carol of Great Bend, Kan., Joey Stiles and his wife Elwanda of Great Bend, Kan., and Don Stiles and his wife Louetta of Parker, Colo.; two sisters, Louise Phillips of Berryville and Wanda Stiles Shields of Golden, Colo; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lonnie Stiles, and one son, Jerry Allen.
Faye received her education at Golden, Mo. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for the entire family, especially during holidays. For several years, she drove a school bus for Cassville School District. Much of her time was spent helping on the farm, gardening and attending horse shoes.
She was a member of Golden Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in Roach Cemetery, Eagle Rock, Mo., under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Brother Wayne Writer will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
