Marjorie E. Cox

MARJORIE E. COX, a resident of Green Forest, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, at the age of 67.

Mrs. Cox was born in California, the daughter of John and Jessie (Spencer) Cothren on Aug. 8, 1938.

She was a member of the Garden Web and enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-granddaughter, Taryn.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Cox, of Green Forest; daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Danny Wright of Springdale; daughter Debra Munn of Eldon, Mo.; daughter Melinda Hagen of Springdale; brother John Cothren of Rocky Mount, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 10, 2006, at the Chapel at Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial was in the Jasper Cemetery.
