Mrs. Boss was a music teacher. She taught at Green Forest Public Schools and other schools in Carroll County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Green Forest, where she played the piano and organ.
On Aug. 11, 1957, she was united in marriage with Larry Boss, who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her two sons, Paul Boss of Abita Springs, La., and Kurt Boss of Green Forest; two brothers, Harold Henderson of Atlanta, Ga., and Gene Henderson of Stockton, Calif.; three sisters, Bernice Simpson of Livingston Manor, N.Y., Debra Johnson of Owasso, Okla., and Virginia Holt of Dallas, Texas; her granddaughter, Hannah Boss of Abita Springs, La.; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Doris Stover and Leta Chetham.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church in Green Forest with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating.
