TOMMIE LEE FEW EVELAND of Wichta, Kan., formerly of Stigler, Okla., was born Oct. 8, 1925 in Beaver Mountain, Okla. to Henry Burton Few and Emma Brents Few and died March 24, 2006, in Berryville at the age of 80.

She is survived by five daughters, Emma Wallin and husband Jim of Sedgwick, Kan., Linda Roberts and husband Chris of Wichita, Charlotte Eveland of Newton, Kan., Michelle Williams and husband David of Eureka Springs, and Chastity Sprenger of Newton, Kan.; one son, Shawn Eveland of Newton, Kan.; 18 nephews and nieces; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Eveland was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; one son, Leslie Dewayne, and one granddaughter. She loved traveling and gardening and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler, Okla., with Rev. Coy Mike Few officiating. Burial followed in Mountain Home Cemetery under the directon of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory.
