Junior Lee Hopper
JUNIOR LEE HOPPER, a resident of Berryville, was born Dec. 26, 1930, in Burlington, Ark., a son of Harve Lee and Gertrude Wilton (Edwards) Hopper. He died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, in Berryville at the age of 75.
Junior was a bus driver for the Berryville School District for 17 years. He was a truck driver for many years as well as a farmer. He attended the Berkes Community Church in Grandview.
On June 4, 1973, he was united in marriage with Kathy Marie (Glocksien) Hopper, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Stephanie Hopper of Berryville, and Jerry and Julie Hopper of Green Forest; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jack McCullah of Blue Eye, Mo.; a sister, Margaret Bush of Eagle Rock, Mo., four brothers, James (Red) Hopper of Urbanette, Herman Hopper of Neosho, Mo., and David Hopper and Warren Dean Hopper, both of California; five grandchildren, Kelcee Hopper, Harley Hopper, Riley Hopper, Jimmie Hopper and Christopher Johnson; many other relatives; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harve and Gertrude Hopper; one brother, Billy Joe Hopper; one sister, Imogene Bickford; one son, Larry Jr. Hopper; and a grandson, Braydin Russell Hopper.
Funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Rev. Jim Sisco officiating.
