GREEN FOREST -- An Alpha course, a 10-week practical introduction to the Christian faith, will get underway on Thursdays starting on Jan. 26 at Green Forest United Methodist Church, according to Brooke Coffey, director of ministry.

The course offers answers to key questions, and has been used by thousands who have found answers to their questions about life and God and how they relate, Coffey said.

Each weekly session will begin with an informal dinner at 5:45 p.m., followed by a large group learning time, and ending with small group discussion and interaction.

The course began in London, and is now held in thousands of churches around the world.

For more information about the course, telephone (870) 438-6122, or come to the first meeting on Jan. 26 at 5:45 p.m. Reservations may be made between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. by calling the same number.
