MARGARET GRAVES, a resident of Alpena, was born Sept. 5, 1929, in the Rudd community of Carroll County, a daughter of Jess Henry and Nora Josephine (Wilson) Fultz. She died Friday Dec. 30, 2005, in her home at the age of 76.

Mrs. Graves was a homemaker and a quilter. She made quilts for other people.

She is survived by her son, Rickey and wife Gale Graves of Osage; two daughters, Karin and husband Jim Gibbany of Alpena and Barbara and husband Danny Dean of Harrison; three brothers, Jim Fultz of Springdale, Ernie Fultz of Osage, and Dale Fultz of Green Forest; five sisters, Twana Cates of Springdale, Mollie Noland of Lowell, Shirley Dunkle of Carthage, Mo., Sue Colvin of Tontitown, and Linda Crabtree of Wheatland, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Oct. 17, 1947, she was united in marriage with Clyde E. Graves, who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at the Alpena Cemetery with Bro. Dean Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Alpena Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
