Jannis Louise DeLozier

JANNIS LOUISE (DICKENSON) DeLOZIER, a resident of Green Forest, was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Springfield, Mo., a daughter of Merle F. and Violet Wanita (Bradford) Dickenson. She died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in her home at the age of 57.

Jannis was a support team manager and UPC clerk at Wal-Mart in Branson, Mo. She was a member of the Ponce Pentecostal Church in Missouri.

On April 29, 1994, she was united in marriage with Charles DeLozier, who survives her. She is also survived by three daughters, Donna and her husband Lauren Braziel of Berryville, Shelly and her husband Morris Mayers of White Hall, Ark., and Tammy and her husband Jim Goins of Green Forest; two sons, Stacy Peterson, and Chuck and his wife Susie DeLozier of Green Forest; her mother, Violet Wanita Dickenson of Galena, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, Ashta, Teran, Serena, James, John, Heath, Hali, Hope, Hayden, Cody, Trace, Mandy, Sarah, Paula, and Christy; two great-grandchildren, Sunny and Mae; two brothers, Pete Dickenson of Reeds Spring, Mo. and Randy Dickenson of Marshfield, Mo.; three sisters, Donna Kay Irby of Springfield, Mo., Naomi Logan of Elkland, Mo., and Charolene Cunningham of Walla, Okla.; several other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Merle F. Dickenson, and one grandson, Michael Goins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Bro. Bill Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickens Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International.
