Week of Dec. 12

Dec. 12

8 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Davis Fina station to work a traffic accident.

9:50 a.m. -- Police worked an investigation regarding a lost or stolen government check.

12:49 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Magnolia Street address to investigate a barking dog complaint.

1:18 p.m. -- Police went to an East Freeman Street address to take a report regarding debit card theft.

3:30 p.m. -- Police gathered information for a private property traffic accident report.

5:17 p.m. -- Police went back to a Magnolia Street address to follow-up on a previous barking dog complaint. The owner was contacted.

5:30 p.m. -- A traffic stop on Freeman Street resulted in the arrest of a motorist who reportedly ran a stop sign and was wanted on warrants.

7:16 p.m. -- While conducting a traffic stop for a faulty headlight, police were dispatched to a traffic accident near the Lucky Dragon restaurant.

Dec. 13

12:05 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Locust Heights location to investigate a possible domestic battery complaint. Police were unable to locate the disturbance but spoke to the complainant by phone.

1:53 a.m. -- Police were dispatched back to the Locust Heights location and made an arrest for violation of a protection order.

9:15 a.m. -- A shoplifter, armed with a knife, was arrested at Wal-Mart.

7:27 p.m. -- A vehicle blocking the road at Tyson Foods was gone when police arrived.

11:06 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Exxon station to investigate a disturbance complaint.

Dec. 14

3:50 a.m. -- Police investigated an alarm call at Kerusso, met with the owner and checked the building.

10:10 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Spruce Street address to investigate a breaking and entering complaint. Police found no signs of entry.

2:21 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Country Court address to investigate a complaint of someone shooting a rifle. Police were unable to locate any signs of shooting.

6:30 p.m. -- Police assisted with traffic control during an EMS drill at the high school.

6:33 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Payless Shoes to investigate an alarm call. Everything was okay.

Dec. 15

6:38 a.m. -- A report was taken at the scene of a two vehicle traffic accident with no injuries at Wal-Mart.

7:10 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Hwy. 21 South to check the area for a reported reckless driver. Police located the suspect vehicle at Tysons.

11:57 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart to work a private property traffic accident. No report was required.

12:35 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the White Oak station to investigate a theft of motor fuel.

12:50 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to the Tobacco Outlet to investigate a shoplifting complaint.

1 p.m. -- Police followed-up on a case of adult abuse.

1:15 p.m. -- Police took a report of a lost cell phone.

Dec. 16

3:57 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Lynn Street address to investigate a report of a possible fight or disturbance. Police spoke with the subjects and determined that the call was unfounded.

4:40 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Cedarvale address to investigate a harassment complaint.

6 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a traffic accident on Hwy. 21 South.

7:30 p.m. -- Police gathered information from a complainant about a dispute with a neighbor.

10:58 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to McDonalds to investigate a report of subjects riding on the outside of a vehicle. The vehicle was parked when police arrived and the subjects received a warning.

11:01 p.m. Police went to Twins Food Mart to follow-up on a previous complaint and arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant.

Dec. 17

12:44 a.m. -- A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a motorist for DWI.

1:33 a.m. -- -- A motorist was arrested for DWI.

7:30 a.m. -- Police participated in the Shop with a Cop program at Wal-Mart.

9:20 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to Payless Shoes to investigate an alarm call. Everything was okay.

9:38 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to Brunch Springs Road to investigate a report of kids throwing objects at vehicles. Police checked, but were unable to locate activity.

Dec. 18

7:18 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to First Federal Bank to investigate an alarm call. Everything was okay.

6:04 p.m. Dec. 16 -- The BFD responded to a traffic accident on Hwy. 21 South.

12:37 a.m. Dec. 17 -- The BFD responded to a house fire on County Road 608.
