WEEK OF NOV. 21-28

Nov. 21

9:00 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to McDonald's to take a report on theft of a coat.

11:08 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Sonic Drive-In concerning a grease tub knocked over. There was no damage, the grease was cleaned up and all was okay.

12:54 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of illegal burning on North Springfield Street and Mountain Avenue. The fire was put out.

1:30 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Exxon to initiate an investigation into employee theft.

2:56 p.m. -- Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident at Pizza Hut. Drivers and vehicles gone upon arrival.

4:01 p.m. -- Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident on College Avenue and Pritchard Street. A report was taken.

8:18 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to South Springfield Street to take a report on theft of a license plate.

Nov. 22

12:25 a.m. -- Police responded to a possible traffic accident on Carter Street and Hailey Road. A small yellow Suzuki was located.

8:55 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to U.S. Hwy. 62 East at the armory to block traffic during a construction blast.

12:07 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of unattended children in a car at Wal-Mart. The mother was nearby and all was okay.

1:14 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a disturbance at the Carroll County Courthouse. Both sides were referred to attorneys.

1:23 p.m. -- Police responded to a two vehicle traffic accident on U.S. Hwy. 62 and Carl Avenue. A report was taken.

10:46 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to the vicinity of Williams Tractor on a report of a problem with cattle. The cows were out of the city limits.

Nov. 23

4:27 p.m. -- Police responded to a traffic accident at Wal-Mart and a report was taken.

6:08 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a possible prowler at Locust Heights Apartments. No one was located.

10:18 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of suspicious subjects shooting a BB gun on Hailey Road. Officer located kids and transported them to their parents.

11:17 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart to secure a found license plate.

Nov. 24

3:00 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Tyson's Foods to take a vandalism report.

3:28 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a disturbance on East Church Street. All was okay and one subject left.

9:10 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of dogs running loose on North Main Street at Fancher Avenue. Dogs returned to yard and fence gate secured.

9:45 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a reckless driver in the Wal-Mart area. Vehicle located but unoccupied.

10:38 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of an intoxicated subject at Burger King. Subject gone upon arrival.

Nov. 25

2:15 a.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a loud suspicious vehicle at West View Apartments. Officer checked the area but the vehicle was gone from scene.

10:27 a.m. -- Officer was dispatched to the library parking lot on a report of suspicious activity. Officer checked subjects and all was okay.

1:43 p.m. -- Officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart to transport two female juvenile shoplifters to the police department. Juveniles were released to relatives.

8:16 p.m. -- Police responded to a possible domestic at Magnolia Village Apartments. The fight was all verbal and officer mediated.

11:25 p.m. -- Officer initiated a traffic stop in front of the high school gym which led to subject arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Nov. 26

3:42 a.m. -- Police responded to a possible fight at Exxon. The fight was all verbal and subjects were advised to go home.

4:34 a.m. -- Officer initiated a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy. 62 Spur which led to the driver arrested for driving on a suspended license due to DWI.

8:54 a.m. -- Officer assisted emergency medical technicians with entry into a home on Spruce Avenue.

12:30 p.m. -- Officer took a report on theft of a trailer.
