HELEN PATRICIA (PAT) GODFREY died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005. She was born in Tulsa, Okla., on March 10, 1940, and lived most of her adult life in southern California.

She was a homemaker in retirement with her husband, Ray Godfrey, in Holiday Island for the past year. She had worked for Wal-Mart as a photo manager in City of Industry, Calif. for 16 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ray, of the home; her stepson, Scott Godfrey, his wife, Amie, and son, Ethan; step-daughter Heather Godfrey; three sisters, Billie Love, Anita Ellis, and Shirley Gwiazda; and three nephews and four nieces.

She was a lover of nature and animals, and enjoyed her home in Holiday Island, where she loved bird-watching and caring for the deer and other wildlife in the area.
