Steven Eugene Woodsmall
The body of Steven Eugene Woodsmall, 48, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., missing since Aug. 12, was found Sunday, Oct. 30, in Ripley County, Mo. He was born July 19, 1957, at Jonesboro, Ark.
He was co-owner and operator of Long John Silver's Restaurant in Poplar Bluff, and a member of First Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
He married Sonya Hyde on Aug. 8, 1980.
Other survivors include two daughters, Stefanie Woodsmall and Shelby Woodsmall, both of Poplar Bluff; a son, Shawn Woodsmall, of Poplar Bluff; his parents, Gene and Glenda (Smith) Woodsmall, of Nixa, Mo., formerly of Berryville; a sister, Carla Coburn, of Cape Coral, Fla.; and a brother, Jeff Woodsmall, of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation was Thursday at First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service was to be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial was at Gum Cemetery of Mo. Hwy. B, near Fairdealing, Mo.
