David Wescoat, 63, of Green Forrest, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, at his home. He was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Dallas County, Texas, to Virgil Caryle and Madge Opal Allen Wescoat.
He was a former truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Sue Davis Wescoat, of the home; one son, William Wescoat, of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Katheleen Ward and Gail Quinn, both of Fort Worth; a brother, John Wescoat, of Fort Worth; a sister, Diana Austin, of Plano, Texas; two step-sons, William "Chip" Norton Jr., of Eureka Springs, and Robert "TeRip" Norton, of Sage, Ark.; a step-daughter, Lori Norton, Of Green Forest; and 16 grandchildren.
Graveside services were to be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Pickens Cemetery with Robert "TeRip" Norton officiating under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville. No visitation was scheduled.
