Gladys Marie Fisher LaHue

Gladys Marie Fisher LaHue, 90, of Green Forest, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sharon LaHue, of Alpena.

She was born April 28, 1915, in Urbana, Mo., the daughter of John Harrison Fisher and Bertha Elizabeth Jordan Fisher. She married James W. LaHue, Feb. 28, 1934. He preceded her in death June 10, 2002.

Also preceding her in death were a son, four sisters, two brothers, and three grandsons.

She is survived by three other children: Peggy Cox and her husband Don, of Berryville, Elizabeth Englund and her husband Lloyd, of Kansas City, Kan., and Deanna Wester and her husband Jerry, of Raytown, Mo.; two sisters, Ruth Noftsger and her husband, Walter, of Arkansas, and Hazel Sever and her husband, Robert, of Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Mrs LaHue was a member of the Eastern Star, Rockport, Mo. chapter.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at the Floral Hills Chapel in Kansas City. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Carroll County Hospice of Berryville, 214 Carter St. Berryville, AR 72616.
