Mary Margaret Moeller
Mary Margaret Moeller, of Jerome, Idaho, died on Oct. 2, 2005, at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Mary was born on Aug. 2, 1924, in Cleveland, Okla., to Edward Adam Conrad and Anna Johanna Moeller. She was one of 10 children.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church, 262 E. Ave. A. in Jerome.
Mary attended business college in Kansas City. She moved to Idaho in 1942, and was employed by First National Bank for 15 years, first as bookkeeper and later as head teller. Due to an illness, she was unable to work for a year. When she returned to work, she went to work for Fidelity National Bank in Twin Falls.
Mary was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jerome, serving on multiple committees. She has been a member of Business and Professional Women's Association (BPW) since 1944, at one time serving as president of the organization. In 1970, she was named BPW "Woman of the Year." She was a charter member of the Jerome County Historical Society, serving in many capacities and dedicated to numerous projects. She served on the Jerome Civic Club and was acting president from 1983-1985. In 1968, she was named one of the "interesting women of Jerome." She was a member of PEO and was also a member of the Hospital Guild Auxiliary.
Mary is survived by sister, Katie Barker of Twin Falls, Idaho; sister, Lillian Lynch of DaIlas, Texas; brother Tom Moeller of Ridgefield, Wash.; niece, Anneta Glavin (Barney) of Twin Falls; niece, Marilyn Young of Jerome; nephew, Michael Barker (Bonnie) of Blackfoot; and many, many great-nieces and -nephews.
Sisters Hattie Burson, Gertrude Maxwell, Rosie Cobb, Nellie Welch and brothers, Edd Moeller and Bill Moeller preceded her in death.
