CHUCK CHEELY, a resident of Monett, Mo., was born Jan. 13, 1957, in Berryville, the son of Charles Louis and Mary Lou (McCord) Cheely. He died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, in Monett at the age of 48.

Mr. Cheely was a member of the Aurora Temple Baptist Church in Aurora, Mo. He was the director of clinical services at the Clark Center in Monett. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Arkansas Tech University and his masters degree in psychology from Central Missouri State University.

He is survived by one son, Charles Wesley Cheely of Monett; one daughter, Allison Paige Cheely of Monett; two step- sons, Casey Reavis and Dillon Reavis, both of Crane, Mo.; his parents, Charles Louis and Mary Lou Cheely of Berryville; a sister, Mary and her husband Mike Kennelley of Siloam Springs; four nieces, Nikki Hensley of Oklahoma City; Katie Gibbs of Hathern, England; Kristin and Jenny Kennelley both of Siloam Springs; several other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ed Walls officiating. Interment will follow in the Berryville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Community National Bank Trust, 901 East Hwy 60, Monett, MO 65708 to a trust fund established for the education of his children.
